Asylum Support Appeals Process

Course information

This E-learning module includes a range of learning activities to help you develop your understanding of asylum support. You can take the course at your own pace; it should take you approximately 1 hour. This course will give you the tools to help give advice to asylum seekers in the UK on when and how to appeal the refusal or discontinuation of asylum support. Your knowledge will be tested at the end of the course you will receive a certificate of completion. Please note, you need to complete our short survey in order to complete the course and access the certificate.

Suitable for:

This course is designed for those who have an understanding of asylum support and would like to know how to support their clients with appeals at the Asylum Support Tribunal.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of this course, you will know the following:

• Understand how the  appeals process is conducted.
• Feel confident assisting clients submit an appeal.
• Know how to help your client to respond to a directions notice.
