The Right of Appeal

Course information

This E-learning module includes a range of learning activities to help you develop your understanding of asylum support. You can take the course at your own pace; it should take you approximately 1 hour. This course will give you the tools to help give advice to asylum seekers in the UK on when they can appeal to the Asylum Support Tribunal. Your knowledge will be tested at the end of the course you will receive a certificate of completion. Please note, you need to complete our short survey in order to complete the course and access the certificate.

Suitable for:

This course is designed for those who have an understanding of asylum support and would like to know what decisions can be appealed to the Asylum Support Tribunal.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of this course, you will know the following:

• Understand the right of appeal under s103 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 (IAA).
• Be able to identify which HO decisions have a right of appeal under s103 IAA
